How to get involved

Two people sit opposite each other at a table. One person, with a laptop, appears to be giving advice. Behind them is a banner for Citizens Advice Woking offering independent, impartial, free, confidential advice.

Volunteer roles

We are currently looking for volunteers to begin training as Assessors and Advisers. The roles are demanding and interesting and involve directly helping members of the public.

We envisage the training starting as soon as possible, once recruitment and interviews have taken place.

Please have a look at the information pack and email our Training Supervisor, Roz, if you are interested in receiving an application form.

Paid roles

Current opportunities are listed below. If none are showing, we’re not recruiting right now — please check back soon.

We are looking for a committed Adviser or Assessor for a three day a week post as a Trussell Trust Adviser.

We are hoping to recruit as soon as possible to this fixed term post, which finishes at the end of October 2026. There may be scope for the role to continue, but this is depends on funding. This would suit somebody with previous Citizens Advice experience who has reached Assessor or Adviser competence.

For more about the role and how to apply, please see the job pack.
