Volunteers are at the heart of who we are. From advisers to admin roles, our trained volunteers help hundreds of residents every year by offering free, confidential advice when it’s needed most.

We are currently looking for volunteers to begin training as Assessors and Advisers. The roles are demanding and interesting and involve directly helping members of the public.

We envisage the training starting as soon as possible, once recruitment and interviews have taken place.

We are looking for a committed Adviser for a three day a week post as an i-access Adviser.

We are hoping to recruit as soon as possible to this NHS & Citizens Advice post. This would suit somebody with previous Citizens Advice experience who has reached Adviser competence. Patience and empathy are essential.

We are looking for a committed Advice Session Supervisor for a two to five day a week post.

This would suit somebody who has extensive experience supervising in an advice organisation, or someone with previous Citizens Advice experience as a Generalist Adviser or Caseworker.

We are looking for a committed Welfare Benefit Adviser for a two to three day a week post.

This would suit somebody who has previous Citizens Advice experience as a Generalist Adviser or Caseworker. A knowledge of all general advice areas would be beneficial, and previous advice-level experience of the UK benefit system is essential.
